Who You Are!

Hold a graduate degree in psychology, social work, or a related mental health field from an accredited university (e.g., MA, MSc, MSW, PhD, PsyD). We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including Clinical, Counseling, and Child Psychology.

Have experience utilizing empirically validated evidence-based treatment modalities.

Have relevant work experience in providing mental health treatment and supporting the mental health population served.

Licensed or license-eligible in the state of California, including LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Clinical Psychologists (PhD/PsyD). Must be in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or Board of Psychology (BOP). Associate-level professionals (AMFT, ASW, APCC) are also encouraged to apply.

Must carry or be willing to obtain Professional Liability Insurance in accordance with California state regulations.

Membership with professional organizations such as the California Psychological Association (CPA), California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), or the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is encouraged.

Demonstrates professionalism and strong case management skills, including timely documentation, treatment planning, and ethical practice standards.

Do you accept commercial insurance?We accept a variety of health plans, including Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Cigna, Exclusive Care, Humana PPO, Magellan Healthcare (MHSA), Managed Health Network (MHN), Lucent Health, Tricare-West, and Optum-UBH. Please note that this list is subject to change. If you do not see your health plan listed, we recommend contacting the office to confirm the current contract status

Do you accept state insurance such as Medi-Cal and Medicare?Yes, we are participating providers with Medicare and IEHP through their behavioral health program.

Do you accept College/University student health plans?In most cases yes, College/University student health plans are managed by commercial plans like Anthem Blue Cross and United Health Care. Usually, students need to acquire a student health referral for services. If you have any questions or need clarification, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to assist you and can verify details with both your insurance plan and your College/University.

PSAS, Inc., has relationships with numerous healthcare professionals in the psychological, psychiatric, and medical communities. Therefore, if we are unable to provide the service you need, we can assist with a referral to a suitable professional who can address your needs. We are happy to consult with you to determine if we can help or if another professional would be better suited to assist you.
