Insurance FAQ
Do you accept commercial insurance?
Yes, we accept the following health plans Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Cigna, Exclusive Care, Humana PPO, Magellan Healthcare, Managed Health Network (MHN), Lucent Health, Tricare, and UHC/UBH Optum.
This list is subject to change if you do not see your health plan listed please contact the office to confirm contract status.
Does my insurance cover behavioral health services?
Most health plans provide coverage for behavioral/mental health services. If you would like us to contact your insurance to confirm your eligibility and benefit details, please contact our office at (951)335-5858.
Do you accept private pay?
Yes, please contact us to discuss fees.
Do you accept state insurance such as Medi-Cal and Medicare?
Yes, we are in-network providers with IEHP through their behavioral health program for Medi-Cal members and with Medicare.
Do you accept College/University student health plans?
In most instances, the answer is yes. Our experience is that most College/University student health plans are managed by commercial plans such as Anthem Blue Cross, and United Health Care. The student typically just needs to obtain a student referral for services. Please feel free to call us and we can check with the insurance plan and/or your College/University for specific details.

Do you provide therapy services?
Yes, we currently offer psychotherapy.
What types of therapy do you offer?
We have a licensed professional who practices from a variety of perspectives and treatment strategies. In general, the following evidence-based treatment models are practiced: cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, relapse prevention therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused, brief therapy, or long-term models. We offer services for adolescents and adults.
Do you provide services for children and adults?
Yes, our licensed professional has training and experience working with children and adults for a variety of different concerns and/or referral questions. PSAS, Inc., has relationships with many other health care professionals in the psychological, psychiatric, and medical communities. Therefore, if we are not able to provide the service you are looking for we can assist with a referral to a professional who can meet your needs. We are happy to consult with you to determine if we can help or if another professional would be better suited to assist you.
Do you provide psychological testing?
Yes, our licensed professional specializes in psychological evaluation/assessments.
Do you provide neuropsychological testing?
Yes, our licensed professional specializes in neuropsychological evaluation/assessments.
Will I be provided documentation after testing is completed?
Yes, our reports are thorough and clearly document the need for any accommodations, clarification of diagnosis, and include treatment recommendations.
